New Belgium Asheville
The New Belgium Asheville facility was completed in April 2016 and cost $175 Million to construct. The 133,000 square foot brewery and tasting room sits on 18 acres in West Asheville along the French Broad River just across from the River Arts District. The property required extensive cleanup and was built with repurposed wood and other materials from previous buildings and structures that were located on the property. The entire brewery is filled with local artisan custom built pieces using scrap metal and wood pieces found on the property. New Belgium Brewery is entirely employee owned.
Take the New Belgium Brewery tour and hear all about the history of the property, the story behind the art that fills the buildings, the beer making process and the bottling process. You’ll also receive at least 3 small pours of their brews. They are very fun, they last approximately 90 minutes and each guide tells the story in their own different way. It’s like going on a different tour each time. Click here to schedule your tour. Tours are every 30 minutes and are offered between the hours of 11:30am and 4:30pm Monday thru Saturday and 12:30 thru 4:30 on Sunday.
