Our Favorite Asheville NC Restaurants & Eateries

We don’t like to spend a fortune eating at restaurants but we love good food! Every now and then we like to treat ourselves to dinner at the Omni Grove Park Inn or some of the other highly acclaimed downtown restaurants but this list leans toward lesser expensive local favorite eateries. By no means is this a complete list as we haven’t been to all the restaurants but these are definitely some of our favorites. After dinner, check out our Favorite Brewpubs or our Favorite Music Venues.

Buxton Hall BBQ

Buxton Hall is located in the South Slope part of town. It’s chef was a James Beard nominee. Park at the Biltmore Avenue parking garage and it’s about a 10 minute walk. Get the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich with Collard Greens!
