Our Favorite Asheville NC Breweries & Libations

Wicked Weed

The best place in Asheville to sit outside, have a craft beer, a bite to eat and people watch. Park at the Biltmore Avenue parking garage. It’s right next-door.

New Belgium Brewing

Go on the free tour and stick around for a craft beer in the Liquid Center. The tour is fantastic and you’ll get several small pours during the 1 and ½ hour tour. Click here to book a tour.

Highland Brewing Company

Highland Brewing Company was founded in 1994 and was Asheville’s first brewery. It’s the closest brewery to the Asheville Mountain House and one of our favorites. They have live music along with indoor and outdoor seating. They have a large outdoor stage and also food trucks. Click here for their events calendar.

Asheville’s South Slope

The South Slope is home to Asheville Brewing Company, Ben’s Tune Up, Burial Brewing, Catawba Brewing, Green Man Brewing, Hi Wire Brewing, Twin Leaf Brewing, Wicked Weed and Wicked Weed’s Funkatorium.

Lexington Avenue Brewery

This downtown brewery has good beer and good food. It has open air seating and is located at a busy part of downtown.

The Bier Garden

A unique atmosphere with a huge beer selection and good food.
