The Grey Eagle

This is a smaller intimate venue. The Grey Eagle is Asheville’s longest-running all-ages venue and has hosted over 10,000 different bands and artists including the Avett Brothers, Band of Horses, Richie Havens, Nathaniel Ratcliff, and many more.

Orange Peel

This Downtown Asheville venue has been named one of the best live music venues in the nation by several magazines. It’s mostly standing room but there are a few bar height tables if you arrive early. The acoustics are great and we found there to be very short lines for drinks, which is a bonus!

Highland Brewing

Highland Brewing is located only about 10 minutes (4.2 miles) from the Asheville Mountain House. It’s undergoing a total makeover which will be rolled out in February 2018.

Isis Music Hall

Isis Music Hall is located on Haywood Road in West Asheville. There’s also a bar and restaurant inside so you can have dinner and watch a show. Isis has seated shows that accommodate 150 people or standing shows that can accommodate up to 450 people.

Salvage Station

The Salvage Station was founded in 2016 and is located in the River Arts District. It’s an outdoor venue with food and a bar. Indoor and outdoor dining is available.

Asheville Music Hall

The Asheville Music Hall is located in the heart of Downtown Asheville. Their shows accommodate up to 360 people and are attached to a bar and restaurant.

Tressa’s is an Old New Orleans Jazz type atmosphere.

Jack of the Wood
